Structured English Immersion (SEI)

SEI is a language acquisition program in which all classroom instruction is provided in English. The curriculum is designed for pupils who are learning English. The students are offered daily Designated English Language Development (ELD) and access to grade level academic subject matter content through Integrated ELD in order to reclassify to Fluent English Proficient.

The English Language Proficiency Assessment for California or the ELPAC is a test students take each year to measure how well students in kindergarten through twelfth grade understand English when it is not their primary language.
